Giving Staff Members Roles & Privileges

To set roles/privileges for a staff member, go to Setup> Staff> Staff Members and click on their name. To add a new staff member, click the '+ Add a Staff Member' button at the top of the the Staff Members page.

 

Here are some suggested configurations for staff roles/privileges for the most common staff situations.

For reference, 'Staff Roles' are the most commonly given, with 'Setup Roles' usually reserved for a GM (General Manager), business stakeholder or a staff member with a specific role (workout programming, retail merchandise manager).

 

PLEASE NOTE: This list of recommendations isn't meant to cover every situation. If you have a staff member with a more complicated role, reach out to the customer success team for help crafting a specific set of roles for that staff member.

Take attendance only/launch the attendance kiosk:

Staff Roles:
Attendance Coordinator 

 


Take attendance/launch kiosk, update basic member profile info (phone number, birthday), sell a membership

Take attendance, update basic member profile info (phone number, birthday), sell a membership, book appointments

*This will allow them to login and see financial reports and that’s it.
