How To Build A Workout Quick Reference

This article is a quick overview of how to build a workout!  We have more detailed articles on how to build and manage more complex workouts in our help library. For a video on how to build a workout, please click here

Click on Workouts in your lefthand menu

Click on +Create a New Workout

When you first open a new workout, a few things will auto-populate (but feel free to change them):

  • Date: The date will default to the day you are creating the workout
  • Workout Name: The workout name will auto-populate with YEARMONTHDAY
  • Show on Member Connect: Will default to the date and time you create the workout

              

 

To start building your workout, click on the Programs(s) drop down to select which Programs and/or Sessions this workout will apply to. Your selection will autosave!

           

 

Click on the Select Section Name drop down and choose the name for your first section (You can now manage & edit your section names in Setup > Lookup Codes)

 

      

 

 

 

Then click into the Search box.  From this box, you can search for an existing Skill (anything that is measured), create a NEW Skill or add text     

Continue building your workout by adding appropriate Sections, Skills and/or text

If adding a weight measured Skill, you can choose to add multiple sets by clicking on the +Add set button under the Skill

         

At any point, you can click on the Preview button on the top right to see how the workout will appear to your members and coaches

Should you need to move either Sections or component of a section, hover your cursor over the Section and then click to drag!

Once you are done building your workout, you can either click Activate or Save as Draft!
