Paysafe PCI Requirements for European Clients

Beginning January 1, 2018, Paysafe has a new requirement for European merchants to prove their PCI compliance. If you are European client currently with Paysafe, you can do this in a couple of ways:

  1. If you are already PCI compliant, you can provide Paysafe with a certificate proving that you are compliant
  2. If you are not compliant, you can register through the Paysafe portal and fill out a short questionnaire to ensure that you become compliant

If you need to fill out the questionnaire and require assistance, Paysafe has a team dedicated to assisting merchants with this process. This team can be reached at +44 800 294 1404, or through the live chat function in your Paysafe portal.

Failure to comply with the mandate will result in a fee that will be assessed monthly until you become PCI Compliant.  This fee is in effect starting (90) days after transmitting, processing or storing credit cards. If you were an existing client with Paysafe, deadline to provide compliance documentation is March 31, 2018.
